As a side event of the LEC Summer Finals, NIYU successfully handled the technical planning and safety implementation of the LEC XPO – the accompanying trade fair on the adjacent grounds of the Malmö Mässan.
During a parallel conception and planning phase and 8 days of on-site production, numerous opportunities were provided for e-sports enthusiasts to engage with League of Legends, teams, and influencers in preparation for the final games:
On approximately 1700m², NIYU set up several stands for official LoL teams where gaming and streaming took place. These were surrounded by sponsor stands and a community area where visitors could play themselves and meet their idols and influencers. The event was complemented by panel talks, cosplay contests, and other activities on the community stage.
As a special highlight, the League of Legends trophy was exhibited up close. The event was supported by NIYU through technical planning, an extensive safety concept, close coordination with the organizer and the venue, and a team of security staff.
Especially on the second day of the show, the expected number of visitors was significantly exceeded – the numbers and the smooth execution of the event confirm the success of the implementation.
