CARIAD at IAA in Munich

This year, CARIAD SE participated in the IAA 2021 in Munich with an exhibition stand for the first time since the founding of the VW subsidiary. They were supported by NIYU, which was tasked with the technical planning of the video, audio, and lighting systems for the stand and the press conference. Despite the short timeframe – 41 days for the planning phase, tenders, awards, detailed planning, and unloading the first truck in the exhibition hall—the concept of creating an almost completely self-illuminated stand was particularly exciting. Nearly every visible wall and characteristic structure were designed and implemented as controllable light boxes, giving the presentation a special brilliance.
